THE SHROUD OF TURIN, THE HOLOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE
By Dr. Petrus Soons: My presentation summarizes work connected with digitizing Shroud photographs taken by Giuseppe Enrie in 1931, enhancing the digitized images to improve details, translating the enhanced images “gray-scale into depth data”, generating a sequence of up to 625 images of each of these, and combining these images with a Holoprinter to produce Holograms (3D images) of the Shroud. It also summarizes my study of these Holograms which confirm many previous findings and the discovery of heretofore unseen details.
The website contains also investigations done on the 3D materials in cooperation with Pete Schumacher with the VP-8 Image Analyzer, resulting in new discoveries like the presence of an oval solid object under the beard, with on the surface three Hebrew letters and also the presence of a HALO around the head.
Also an investigation in cooperation with Prof. Avinoam Danin to explain the image-less areas on the left and right side of the face, where the presence of flower images were discovered, that seemingly blocked the image formation of this side of the face.
